Get ready to shop, discover, and fall in love with reading! Our Fall Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Gum Springs Elementary September 11–18, bringing an exciting selection of books and other items to help our students build their home libraries and discover their next favorite read. Students will have opportunities during the school day to visit the Book Fair and shop for books.

Families are invited to join us for a special Family Shopping Day! Stop by the Media Center after school, browse the exciting selection, and help your child choose books they will enjoy reading at home.

Want your child to shop independently? Book Fair eWallet makes it easy! Families can create an eWallet through our school’s Scholastic Book Fair homepage (scan the QR code below), and family members and friends can contribute funds. Your child can then use those funds to choose the books they want to read. Any unspent funds remain available in your Scholastic account for future Book Fairs or can be donated to Share the Fair.

This year, our Book Fair will be coinless! While we will still gladly accept cash (including coins), eWallet, and credit cards as forms of payment, no coins will be given as change. To make this work, purchase totals will be rounded up to the nearest dollar. The difference will be donated directly to our Share the Fair fund, helping provide books for students who may need assistance purchasing books.

Our Book Fair also offers Share the Fair, a giving program that helps provide books for students who may need assistance purchasing books. Families and community members can choose to contribute so that every student has the opportunity to leave the Book Fair with a book in hand. Donate to Share the Fair by scanning the QR code below.
