November 2, 2025

A Note from Administration

Our Harvest Feast celebrations kick off on Thursday, November 6th. We are excited to have a large group of guests joining us at GSES. Please note the following information if you are registered to attend:
  • Click HERE to view the schedule for arrival and lunch times or view the schedule below.
  • Please plan to park in the main front parking lot. Golf carts may also park on the concrete pad (our daily drop off and pick up location for golf carts). There will be 10 handicap parking spaces available along the front sidewalk.
  • All lunch guests will enter through the main front entrance of the school.
  • All guests must show photo ID upon arrival, so don’t forget to bring your driver’s license. Each guest will be provided a pre-printed Raptor Security badge once ID is verified.
  • We’d love for all of our students to stay at school all day, just as they would on a normal day, but if you do plan to check out your child, you will be able to do that before eating lunch.
  • We will not be able to accommodate walk-up registrations.
  • Please be sure to share this information with grandparents or guests who are registered to attend who may not receive ParentSquare messages.
Thank you so much for joining us. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Veteran's Day at GSES

Veteran's Day at GSES

We are honored to pay tribute to veterans and active service members who are part of our Panther family at our annual GSES Veterans Day ceremony on Tuesday, November 11th. We want to include information about your family members in our slideshow presentation, along with a picture if you have one you'd like to share. It means so much to our students to see their family members recognized for their loyalty and patriotism. Veterans and active service members are also invited to attend the ceremony at 9:00 A.M. with your special Panther.

To have your veteran included in this year's slideshow OR to RSVP if you are a veteran or active service member who plans to attend the ceremony, please complete the form linked below by Friday, November 7th at 3:00 P.M. We will also spotlight our honored service members on social media. Thank you for helping us pay tribute to this very important part of our Panther family!

Spooky Spotlights

Spooktacular Friday activities

A Spooktacular Friday!

Halloween isn’t just for costumes — our Panthers got creatively spooky in the classroom this week while practicing their academic skills! 👻✏️ From math monsters and pumpkin spelling challenges to witchy science experiments and haunted history activities, students were learning and laughing all day long. 🎨 It’s great to see our little ghouls and goblins solving problems, reading, and exploring while celebrating the season. Learning has never been so spooktacular!

Haunted by 6-7

Haunted by 6-7

If you know, you know. 😜 Our teachers couldn’t resist joining in on the student trend that’s been echoing through the halls — “6… 7!” 🎤💀 This Halloween, staff wore shirts that said “Haunted by 6 & 7”, because let’s be honest… that phrase has officially taken over schools! 🎃🕸️

Our staff had a blast getting spooky and silly while celebrating with our Panthers — proving once again that teachers have the best sense of humor!

Helpful Tech Tips

Campus Parent app

Campus Parent

Every guardian and/or parent needs to have an Infinite Campus Parent Portal account. Having a Parent Portal account, allows parents and guardians to make updates to their contact information, notification settings, and view absences and grades (for 3rd-12th grade). In addition, a Parent Portal account also syncs with ParentSquare and Canvas Parent Observer. The flyer/video linked below helps parents and guardians navigate Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
