We hope you will make plans to join us for our Back-to-School Night next Tuesday, August 26th. This is an important night for parents to meet with your child's teacher to learn essential information that will help set your child up for success this year. Teachers will share information about class expectations, homework policies, grading, curriculum, testing, family engagement opportunities available this year, clubs, and more. Each teacher will host a session from 6:00 to 6:30 P.M. and repeat the same session from 6:45 to 7:15 P.M. Families may drop in to attend either session. Media Specialist Mrs. Gassman will also be offering a session during both time slots to help families learn more about our school tech tools like Parent Square and Infinite Campus, and Specials teachers will be available to meet families and share information about their programs. We hope EVERY Panther family will be able to join us!

Our 3rd grade students kicked off the school year with a deliciously creative activity inspired by the book "Yoko" by Rosemary Wells. After reading this heartwarming story about kindness, acceptance, and trying new things, students reflected on the importance of embracing differences and stepping out of their comfort zones.
To bring the lesson to life, they made Friendship Sushi—a fun snack with each ingredient representing a piece of friendship, from “sticking together” with marshmallow spread to celebrating our differences with colorful Fruity Pebbles. The result? Full bellies, big smiles, and a classroom community ready to support one another all year long.

On Friday morning, our students were greeted by the Jackson County High School football team and cheerleaders as they arrived at school. We love this game-day tradition and are so thankful for these student-athletes who always show up to support and encourage our Panthers!
And to top it off—the Panthers brought home a WIN in their first game of the season! Go Panthers! 🏈🎉
Once a Panther, always a Panther! 🐾
